Veggie Platter
Zanzibar Restaurant delivered an unforgettable dining experience for my family. I ordered the Veggie Platter which followed an appetizer of Collard Greens & Artichoke Dip and a sampling of cornbread muffins. As a vegetarian, it's often a challenge to create a meal that is flavorful and diverse, but Zanzibar knocked it out of the park. I opted for fried okra, coleslaw, and sweet potatoes, and each dish was a delightful treat. The fried okra was crispy and perfectly seasoned, the coleslaw was creamy and rich, and the sweet potatoes were cooked to perfection---tender and full of rich, savory sweetness. What stood out the most was how well the appetizer and each dish complemented the others, creating a harmonious and satisfying meal. The portion sizes were also generous, leaving me fully satisfied and stuffed! Every item on the plate was delicious and the fabulous food was complimented by a wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff. Thank YOU!
Soul Rolls
The soul rolls at Zanzibar are so good! They're crispy on the outside and stuffed with flavorful fillings like collard greens and chicken. The dipping sauce makes them even better!

I just love their food I've tried various of platters and I must say Delicious the Mac and Yams and Greens And Cornbread you can never go wrong.
Chicken & Waffles
I haven't been to this location in years. The servers Sandra & Tanisha were absolutely phenomenal! Their tag team approach is unmatched. The food was seasoned perfectly, served hot & didn't take long to come out. I was there celebrating my birthday tonight with my best friend. Sandra & Cowboy warmed my heart by singing to me, giving me many birthday wishes & blessings ?. I am blown away, you just don't find this level of service these days. Thank you for the exceptional experience. I will be back soon!![?]
Catfish
This is by far the food I have I have tasted in cleveland since I moved here. I have tried everything on the menu. My favorite dishes/ sides are catfish dinner,veggie soul rolls,macaroni and cheese, house potatoes, bbq salmon, yams, cajun corn, and the catfish fingers

My Husband and I went there for lunch on our last day in Cleveland and we were upset that we waited until the last day to go in and try them out. The food and the service was amazing. We had Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer and I can truly say those were the best that I ever had.My husband loves Catfish so everywhere we go he orders Catfish. He said this was some of the best that he had eaten. I would definitely recommend this establishment I am really big on Service,Taste and Presentation. They hit all three out of the Park.
Center Cut Pork Chops
The pork chops at Zanzibar were really good---tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The gravy and onions were perfect, and the mac and cheese and collard greens I got on the side were delicious too. Portions were big, and the service was great.
Jerk Wing (Entree)
We were visiting from out of town and searched soul food. Zanzibar populated and the first thing we noticed was the ambiance of the establishment. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and very classy. We were greeted with enthusiasm and politeness. We were seated and received top notch service from the server, to the assistant manager, to the owner, back to the hostess. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING we tried was delicious! The cornbread muffins were a wonderful starter. We had catfish fingers as an appetizer and they were amazing. The sauce was excellent. We had jerk chicken, the most incredible turkey chops, a delicious corn and okra side and the most amazing candied yams I've had in a long time! I ended by taking some peach cobbler home. By the next morning, I was ready to make the 3 hour trip back for lunch!! Amazing job, Zanzibar and I anxiously await my return!
Shrimp & Grits (16-18)
It was the most delicious, mouthwatering dish I have ever had. Savory and warm, It was a 10/10. Perfection
Jerk Wing (Entree)
Came to Zanzibar in a whim before a Cavs game three years ago and I keep coming back! The venue is beautiful and the servers are very attentive. The best jerk wings I have had! Mac and cheese is delicious and greens were great. Ordered my food to go and sat at the bar for drinks. While the bartender was busy another employee came over and checked on me and grabbed me a water while I waited. Very impressive service each time I visit.
